Went to a holiday trip to Barcelona in 2002. At a beach near Barcelona a group of 3 youngsters broke into our car at a public parking space, at daylight with loads of tourists standing around but afraid to interfere or raise attention. Although we reported to the police, we did not get any significant help. My biggest support to this campaign.

I was robbed on Avinguda Meridiana. Our back tire was cut with a knife and when we innocently try to fix the tire some Middle Eastern thieves took our belongings. They stole over 2,600 euros (this NOT HURTO, it is a CRIME!) for me and all others!
Thieves in Poland go to jail just for stealing a radio out of a car, why The Police in Barcelona does nothing? coffee breaks are more important than protecting the city? why do we pay taxes and WHY Police wants respect from us when they don't do they job? it is time something is done. Enough with this mafias of thieves!

I was robbed from my car. Luckily we didn't get hurt.
I support this campaign 150% let's finish with the crime and make Barcelona the beautiful city it should be.

I got robbed by 3 romanians about a weeks ago(450 euros+all of my papers). I chased them untill it was too dangerous. Three hours later got robbed again, also by another group of romanians(they didn't take anything important).
The funny thing is that the police does nothing, there was no sign of them inside the metro where I got robbed, I called the police and they came after 20 minutes. I saw the thieves again yesterday, yes, imagine that:). I called the police immediately, but the guy on the phone told me he could't do nothing.
How do I know the thieves were romanians? Well, I am also...and the life threats they made were pretty clear.

Pickpockets are scum and in four months of living in Barcelona, I can't count on my hands the number of times I have seen them in action. Get them off the streets for good, it has ruined a great city!
